With the new year approaching, we thought we would take the opportunity to look back at the last 12 months and reflect on the exciting changes that have happened within Nightingale. Early in the year we opened a new branch close to the city centre in Taverners Square, Norwich. Previously, in the Norfolk area we were delivering support from our office in Brooke, predominately in the surrounding villages to Brooke, however the service has increased considerably in Norwich and we felt it was imperative that we have our branch at the centre of the services we provide. Our Norwich branch manager Rachael and her team were delighted with their new office and the opportunity to provide more care in the Norwich area. In June, following the acquisition of All Hallows Homecare, we were delighted to welcome the clients and staff who transferred over to us following difficult circumstances. This was a very busy time for all of us with lots of exciting changes. We relocated to new offices, one being in Beccles, Smallgate, the other in London Road North, Lowestoft. We were absolutely thrilled to have gained some excellent staff and the branches have continued to grow, going from strength to strength allowing us to support more people in the local community. Branch manager Helen, who manages both the Beccles and Lowestoft teams said, "I am extremely pleased with the smooth transition from All Hallows to Nightingale and myself and my team are thoroughly enjoying working with a company that has such a good reputation as Nightingale. We are looking forward to the exciting times we have ahead of us and the opportunity to be able to extend our services even further to those who need us". During October our Brooke branch had a CQC inspection. We are extremely proud to say we received a rating of GOOD in all areas by our regulator the Care Quality Commission. This result puts Brooke in excellent company with our Beccles and Lowestoft branches, holding the same rating. This could not be achieved without the fantastic care and support our professional team provide out in the community and the support roles from our office teams. Over the last few months our branch in Eastbourne has welcomed several new staff, including a new branch manager and staff in supporting roles. As with our other branches, this has allowed us to extend our services to those who need us the most and we are hoping to grow the service further by recruiting more care staff to join our already established team. In December we launched our new client and staff newsletters. These newsletters will be produced and distributed on a quarterly basis and will contain fun, factual and informative articles. We also re-launched our Facebook and Instagram pages and we are regularly posting on these social media platforms to keep our staff, clients and those who are interested in what we do up to date with current information. We are looking forward to 2020 and the exciting opportunities that this will bring. Nightingale is focused on delivering the best possible care for our clients and ensuring our staff feel rewarded, recognised and supported for the fantastic work they do throughout the year.
